USA Hockey is seeking associations and rinks to host events in an effort to increase awareness of female Hockey. This is an opportunity to celebrate current players and increase participation in women's Hockey.

Organizations are encouraged to host events throughout October, while celebrating World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend on:

October 17-19, 2025  IIHF Girls Hockey Weekend

There are various ways host sites can participate, and we encourage you to do so in person and/or virtually. 

For ideas on how to celebrate, visit our Girls Hockey Weekend page.

If you are hosting a Girls Try Hockey for Free event, you do not need to register it here; you can sign up at Try Hockey for Free.com 

If available, USA Hockey will be sending you materials to help celebrate the 2025 Girls Hockey Weekend.
