In the north, oh Canada, cold and vast

Easter finally arrives with spring's breath

Snow melts away, revealing new life

As we celebrate with joy and strife

In the US, Easter blooms like a flower

Bringing families together, hour by hour

Egg hunts and parades, a feast for the eyes

As traditions old and new arise

In Canada, maple syrup and ham

Fill our tables, a grand slam feast

Church bells ring, voices lifted high

In praise of Easter, under an April sky

But in the US, it's hot cross buns

And Easter bonnets, worn by daughters and sons

Chocolate bunnies and colored eggs

Symbolize renewal, breaking old dregs

Both nations share a love for this day

In different ways, we kneel and pray

The spirit of Easter, bright and true

Brings hope and joy for me and you

So let us unite, in spirit and song

In Canada and the US, where we belong

Easter celebrates our diversity

But also, our shared humanity
