The event will be a best-of-three series with one game on Friday, April 25, Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27.  The final schedule and further details will be shared at a later date. Team Canada will be selected and announced at the 2025 Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament in Toronto on March 21 – 23.

Defi Sportif is Canada’s largest multi-sport event, featuring thousands of athletes with disabilities worldwide.  This year’s event takes place from April 26 to May 5, 2024, and will include nearly 6,000 athletes, from up-and-comers to elite-level contenders, who will compete in nine different sports disciplines. This is the first time that Blind Hockey has been a part of the Defi Sportif since 2011, which was a seminal event in the history of Blind Hockey as it led to the foundation of the annual Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament.
